Need to measure an element on your website, an app, or just double check everything is aligned? Screen Ruler is the app for you! Screen Ruler is a web app that creates a floating window that stays on top so you can use to measure in pixels anything on your screen. It also works great as a way to make sure things are visually aligned.
Screen Ruler is a desktop web app, no download or install required! Screen Ruler uses DocumentPictureInPicture to make the floating window on your desktop, which is currently only supported in desktop Chromium browsers, such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Brave.
Firefox and Safari are not compatible. The app somewhat works in Arc; Arc appears to use a custom implementation of DocumentPictureInPicture.
